Thing the First: The Hamster is nameless no more. From now on, she shall be known as "Chippy" because Julie mentioned on Flickr that the stripes on her cheeks make her look like a chipmunk. Random fact: I can't see a chipmunk without blurting out "CHIPPY!" whether I am already in the middle of a conversation, sitting here by myself, in the car...I can't help it. It's a weird verbal tic. Our backyard hosts a rather large chipmunk population. You may now begin pitying The MWP.
Thing the Second: Look! I made a sweater!
It's Leaflet and I knit it with 2 skeins of Eco + in the Pumpkin Spice colorway. I added a pattern repeat because the pattern as written would hit me at a most unflattering place. What's that? You want to see the front?
Well, fine.
I added a removable sweater closure from Jul because the open fronts flapping around drove me crazy. I enjoy this very much.
Thing the Third: Oh, hey, look, I also knit a hat!
It's a shop sample. The pattern is Lace Edged Women's Hat and the yarn is called Milky Whey. It is super soft and all the colors are very subtle.
Thing the Fourth: I am currently knitting my sister a sweater for Christmas. I believe I mentioned it before...oh yes, here it is. I have been very diligently knitting away and have finally worked my way down to the hips and the pockets. It is an oversized sweater and it is now large enough that I can't fit it in my bag to drag it to work with me. This is where I feel like I should have a photo of it, but I don't. So picture a big, blue, sleeveless very long sweater. There you go.
Thing the Fifth: Now that the end of the sweater is in sight (theoretically), I have the mad urge to knit EVERYONE gifts. NO. NO NO NO. no.
Thing the Sixth: I have been keeping this blog for seven years, as of November 4th. I suppose that would have been relevant if I had actually mentioned it on November 4th, but I forgot.

I know I've told you this in person, but your Leaflet really looks fabulous on you. And I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on your sister's sweater -- seems like you just cast it on last week!
