Ten

Ten years ago today, I married my favorite person. We had a hush-hush wedding, attended only by the mayor of Punxsutawney, who acted as our officiant, and a bunch of oblivious kids playing hacky-sack.

Ten years, three rentals, one house, several jobs, two dogs and many hamsters later, here we are. I'm not exactly sure where the last ten years have gone, but damn, they have been fun.

The traditional tenth anniversary gift is tin or aluminum. We prefer sand. Be back in a week.

(The modern anniversary gifts for anniversaries 8 and 9, according to this page, are legos. Legos! We really dropped the ball on that one.)

Happy Anniversary! (We go by the three-kids-later anniversary gift list, ie, none.)

Our 7th was last year, and that's supposed to be wool. For some reason, Chris insisted that I have enough wool. Pshaw. As if that's even possible!

Happy anniversary, and have a fantastic time at the beach!
